Cast Magnesium Anodes are widely used in the Cathodic Protection(CP) industry. Cathodic Protection is one of the most common methods of corrosion mitigation in the pipeline, storage tank and underground metallic structures.

packaged magnesium anodes are packed in cotton bags with backfill consisting 75% gypsum, 20% bentonite and 5% sodium sulphate, and into plastic bags to prevent moisture. Connecting wire: Standard 10 feet of #12 AWG solid copper Lead TW wire.
